  1. Yes it does support M.2 SSD's and of course 2.5" SSD's,
  2. There is no Optane option BUT it has DUAL storage options with M.2 NVMe/SATA SSD + 2.5" HDD/SSD therefore you can add M.2 SSD to your machine and keep existing 2TB HDD. For example
