Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade SSD in my Laptop. Is Samsung 970 Evo plus 1TB supports HP Pavilion 15EC0066AX?

Or Suggest any other product

Please help?

Hi:

 

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

 

Chapter 1 has the supported drive types.

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports NVMe SSD's, so the Samsung 970 should work.

 

Take a look at the newer Samsung 980.  It seems to be less expensive than the 970 but just as good.

The Samsung 980 is a PCIe Gen 3x4 SSD...

 

Take another look at the description.

 

Its not a PCIe Gen 4 x4
