UPDATE
Successfully upgraded the laptop to 64 GB RAM using the Mushkin Enhanced - MES4S320NF32GX2.

I'm considering buying the HP 15z-fc000 laptop, equipped with the AMD Ryzen 7 7730U CPU, for my mom. To avoid expensive 1st party config upgrades, I'm planning on buying it with minimal RAM & SSD & then upgrading it myself with parts I buy separately.
Per the page 2 of the Maintenance & Service guide, the max RAM for the above CPU config is 16 GB. However, I'm used to this meaning that 16 GB is the max configuration RAM available from HP, and not that the laptop won't boot with more than 16 GB installed. This especially the case since the CPU itself supports 64 GB RAM. Anyone know which is the case here?
