Hi. Has anyone tried upgrading the SSD on a 17-cn2022na laptop? It comes with a 1TB disk but I would like to replace this with a 4TB disk. I know how to do this, in general, but I can't find any technical information on the 17-cn2022na to confirm (or not) that the laptop can accept 4TB PCIe SSDs? Thanks for your help.

Hi:
The drive capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.
And HP only has the service manual for the previous model series available.
With NVMe SSDs, theoretically the sky's the limit as long as the drive fits in the slot.
You shouldn't have a problem with installing a larger capacity drive.
The Crucial memory SSD report indicates that they sell NVMe SSDs up to 4 TB for the model series.

Hi Paul. Thanks for your swift response.. Yes, I was pretty sure it would be OK - and I did see that Crucial sell 4TB SSDs for this model, so that's a good indicator, but because there's no HP manual I was hoping someone had actually tried it, just to be completly sure. I have a Dell 7730 which has 4 x M.2 slots - so, it's very storage-friendly - but, nonetheless, it only accepts SSDs up to 2TB. So that's why I'm cautious.
