HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15z-ds100 CTO

My keyboard hasn't been working properly for a full day. Ever since my laptop unexpectedly restarted when I put it to sleep, I've had to hit keys multiple times before the laptop actually registers them. It's never the same keys, and it's been very inconvenient (currently typing this from my phone).

I've restarted the laptop, did a system restore, ran the keyboard troubleshoot, enabled and disabled keyboard accessibility settings, and still no results. Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: It should also be noted that the backlight on my keyboard as well as the small light on the Caps Lock button do not turn on either.

UPDATE: I've unplugged and completely shut off my laptop. Turned it on a few hours later and the keyboard works fine. Not sure how this could be different enough from simply restarting it, but just glad it's working again.
