Hello sorry to pose this here, but I can't seem to find the right place to ask.
Where or how can I recycle an old HP notebook if I do NOT want credit for a new device right now?
The HP website assumes I want trade-in value ... I do not.
I just want to recycle the whole notebook and I thought HP provided that option.
Thanks.

HP only accepts certain models for trade-in with credit. Beyond that, they are not a recycler. Not sure where you live but nearly every mid-sized or larger city in USA has an eWaste recycling program usually set up in say church or school parking lots once every other month or something like that. You might even find a place that accepts computers for recycling and distribution to disadvantaged youth.
