The issue came after i bought the Pro-Book from the nearest market. In first some days it went all good but then Pro-Book start getting heatup even with in a normal temperature and cool days. Now i tried to clean fans of that device and still i faced the issues like hang i dont run two heavy stuff. What do you suggest i should change any internal part or i should buy a better device for office and chrome tabs use.

Hreat if someone may be a user can solve it for me.

Hello @chickfilamenus ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thanks for the clear description — overheating and slow performance on a ProBook can come from a few different causes.

  • Thermal paste has likely dried

  • Heatsink may not be seated correctly

  • Fan or thermal system needs servicing

HP ProBook” is a family name, but I need a bit more detail to give a precise recommendation.

Here’s how you can find the exact model and specs quickly:

On Windows:

  1. Press Windows Key + R

  2. Type: msinfo32

  3. Press Enter

  4. Look at System Model

It will look like something like:

  • HP ProBook 450 G8

  • HP ProBook 440 G7

  • HP ProBook 645 G9
    etc.

Please provide us with the exact model name from System Model to assist you better.

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
