Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Looking to add a second hard drive to my laptop (14 cm0xx)(sps l23175). What is the part number(s) cable and caddy(or how the drive is held in place)?

Hi,

You do not provide the exact model or product number of the machine

14-cm0XX is a whole series of notebooks

You see it depends on the configuration of your actual model (CPU, Drive) on which upgrades you can perform.

If you have an M2 drive installed at the moment, the best idea would be to upgrade the M2 drive to a higher-capacity one.

 

You can also install a 2.5" drive

you will need the hard drive cable

part number l23187-001

and bracket 

part number L23219-001
