Hp 10-e010nr

Hey! I have a HP 10-e10nr and I want to replace the hdd. I found some models around 500 gb with 5400 rpm but I have a question. I found several cache memory size varying from 16 mb to 256 mb. What is the difference? Can I buy any model or is there a compatibility limit?

Thanks.

I did recommend few 2.5" SSD's for you yesterday but if you wish to use 2.5" mechanical HDD therefore the ROT's:

  • bigger cache is much better therefore 256MB is better than 8MB
  • faster spin is better therefore 7200RPM is better than 5400RMP

Regards.

Hi:

What I recommend you do is to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a much better performing 2.5" SATA SSD.

This model SSD provides the best performance for the price, in my opinion.
