The hdmi cable from my Xbox one doesn't fit into my HP Compaq LA2006x. In fact there doesn't seem to be a port on the monitor for hdmi. Can anyone help with a solution? It was my son's Christmas present

The monitor (old) does not have HDMI port, it only has input ports

VGA (analog), DVI-D and DisplayPort w/HDCP, USB

Its specs

Therefore you need a DV to HDMI or DP to HDMI cable to connect monitor and PS4. You can buy a cable from nearly all good computer stores.

Regards.
