Why yes it is. See pages 17 and 43 of the Manual:
The keyboard is a fairly easily replaced separate part and all you would have to do is buy a backlit keyboard and swap it in for your non-backlit model.
Part no. 906763-xxx where xxx depends on country and language. U.S English is -001 so you would need 906763-001.
See pages 43-45 for "how to".
