Yes that's right but some of the i3 models do have the processor soldered to the system board. See p. 27-28 of the Manual.

Thank you so much, the reason i'm asking is because i plan on having this a few more years til i finish building my new tower, i use this laptop mostly for gaming, so in addition is the video memory also upgradable, i seen somewhere about using the advanced system diagnostic tool, but the method it showed did not work for me, any additional help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Video memory is not upgradeable or even adjustable. It uses system memory but it is more advanced than the old days when you had to hard "allocate" to video. The hardware and software lets it adjust on the fly. The bottleneck is not video memory. Plenty of that is available. It is the power of the graphics engine that is the problem and that cannot be changed.

Thank you for the info, But i am able to go from a I3 to a i5 right, unless my processor is integrated into the mother board?

Yes that's right but some of the i3 models do have the processor soldered to the system board. See p. 27-28 of the Manual.
