Hello , I’m seeking advice to find a replacement hinge for my HP laptop. Here are the essential details:

  • Laptop Model: HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-ee1xxx

  • HP Part Number: L93205-001

  • Issue Description: When opening the laptop, the left hinge broke, making a crunching sound, with plastic pieces and a screw dislodging. This has caused the screen to misalign from its normal position.

I'm having difficulty locating this specific hinge part (L93205-001). If anyone knows where I could find this part or if there are any compatible alternatives, please let me know. Any help would be appreciated! I'd prefer a stonger material for the replacement (metal>plastic). Please let me know. Thanks.

NOTE: this broke from normal wear and tear. I am very careful and protective of my stuff. It never fell. It is 2 YEARS OLD and the hinge broke from regular use (it had cheap plastic hinge from HP).
