Hello!
I have an HP Notebook - 17-ak059ur with 500GB HDD. He has a free slot M.2.
Is there support for M.2 2280, MVMe, 3D MLC 128GB?
I want to buy ADATA M.2 XPG SX8000 128 GB, PCI-Ex4, NVMe, MLC 3D, ASX8000NP-128GM-C.
Thank you.

Sorry no. Here's the Service Manual:
There is a dedicated M.2 slot but compatibility is limited to SATA 2280 form factor M.2 disks. A PCIe/NVME type M.2 is not supported.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if its the info you needed.

Thanks for the quick response.
Another clarifying question.
The instruction manual states: M.2 SATA Configurations (TLC): 256 GB, 128 GB.
The HP support team offered “Crucial” (screenshot 1).

"Crucial" website suggested: Crucial MX500 250GB M.2 Type 2280 Internal SSD (screenshots 2, 3).

In reviews about this SSD, I read that the type of memory is 3D NAND TLC. But I need a 128 GB SSD.
I chose a SSD with the same type of memory 3D NAND TLC: PLEXTOR M8VG PX-128M8VG 128GB, M.2 2280, SATA III.
Is this SSD compatible with my laptop?
Thank you.
