Hi @PabloAA,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Pavilion g6-2133sr is not booting from the hard drive or USB flash drive after installing the latest BIOS version, there are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue.
- Reset BIOS settings: Start by resetting the BIOS settings to their default values. To do this, power off your laptop and then power it on. As soon as the HP logo appears, repeatedly press the F10 key (or the key specified to enter BIOS setup) to access the BIOS settings. Look for an option to reset the BIOS settings to default or load the default settings.
- Check boot order: Once you are in the BIOS settings, navigate to the "Boot" or "Boot Order" section. Ensure that the hard drive and USB devices are listed in the boot order. If they are not, modify the boot order to prioritize the hard drive or USB device that contains your operating system.
- Disable Secure Boot: If your laptop has Secure Boot enabled, try disabling it temporarily. Secure Boot is a feature designed to protect your system from unauthorized software, but it can sometimes prevent booting from certain devices. Look for a Secure Boot option in the BIOS settings and disable it if necessary.
- Update BIOS again (optional): If the previous steps didn't resolve the issue, you can try updating the BIOS again. Visit the official HP support website and download the latest BIOS update specifically for your model. Follow the instructions provided by HP to perform the BIOS update carefully.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

This is the latest version for the AMD platform.
Which version did you install?
The downside of installing BIOS on the generation of laptop hardware yours has is the recovery from a bad BIOS update is difficult to recover.
A last resort will require replacement of the BIOS chip with a new pre-programmed BIOS chip.
An electronics repair shop can perform the micro-soldering required to program a new chip and then remove and replace the original chip with the new one successfully.
