Help finding product number with no product label - Can't access operating system

Hello out there!

So the screen is toast on my Pavilion laptop. I purchased it a little over a year ago in Mexico where I currently reside. I am just finding out today that there is no product label anywhere on the outside of the unit nor behind the battery. I can't access the bios or the operating system for that matter to check that way since the screen is shot. I need this information to find a replacement screen.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Can you attach an external monitor? How about a picture? Is there a part number on the battery we can use to back into the part number of the unit?

Depending on which laptop you have, there may not be a physical Service label attached. For instance on the Spectre X360 I am using it is printed in tiny letters on the bottom near the back edge.

That battery is used in the 15-ab000 series. 

Do you at least recall the screen size of the laptop, the processor and maybe even the screen resolution?

Right you are. I looked closer at the battery bay and in tiny letters I found the model number. Had to take a picture of it and zoom in to read it and I have 20/20 vision! I watched HP's video on how to identify the number and it showed a white product label in that same spot. This is like grey letters printed on black sticker.

It is the 15-ab111la model. Now where would I go to find a replacement?
