Dear Team, Kindly help me in choosing the correct RAM stick for my laptop. I'm confused so as to the fact whether my Laptop supports Dual Channel RAM or not. IF it does, should it work in conjunction with the single channel ram?

Can it run both Single Channel RAM(On-board 8GB RAM DDR4 @2133MHz) and a 8GB RAM dual channel Ram(@2400MHz)?

Thanks in advance.

If you buy one of the memory modules listed on that report for your notebook, it should work.

I don't work for Crucial, so I can't guarantee anything.

Are you sure Paul?

So if i get the Crucial 8GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM it should function properly with no issues?!

Yes the one i mentioned is stated in the link you have posted. So assuming it works!

You should be fine then.

Any Crucial memory they recommended for my PC's has always worked, and what's nice...if for some reason it doesn't, they guarantee compatibility, so you can return it for a refund.

The only time I think it wouldn't work is in the very slight chance they sent you one that was defective.

Well thank you so much for you guidance, will get this one 🙂

You're very welcome.

Please post back and let us know how your memory upgrade project went.
