If the cable works you can use it with a SATA SSD. Your scores are a bit low even for a mechanical hard drive I will agree but there is no upgraded SATA cable. You would get one just like the one you have: its 100% HP proprietary.

(14)Hard drive connector 747118-001

The serial number does not do us much good we need the full model number of the laptop. Likely printed on the bottom.

So you think the cable is dead or the laptop?

you found the cable , thank you very much , can you tell me how did you find the reference please ? i want to change the sata since its possible its damaged

Not sure what "change the SATA" means? You mean replace the hard drive? I agree that is a good idea and I would replace it with a 2.5 inch SATA  SSD, not a mechanical hard drive. I have been repairing laptops for quite a while and just kind of have a knack for finding replacement parts. Not sure I could put it into an understandable "how to". Part of it is being able to understand computer parts ads in 4 or 5 languages I don't even speak.

i will change the hard drive for sure , i also want to change the sata cable too since its possible this cable is damaged , its maybe the cause of slow hard drive after all and not the hdd

by the way , the wifi antenna of this same laptop is cut , i want to buy a new antenna , are they all the same or does the model number matters ? its a ralink RT3290

HP Recommended

You can buy generic wifi antennae on eBay and amazon. The little clips/posts are the same on all wifi cards of the same kind. 2 Kinds. One for M.2 wifi cards and a different one for mini-PCIe. Make sure you get the right one.
