Since the end of January 2024, my laptop has been freezing during startup and/or login. Only 1.5 weeks ago, I figured out by trial and error that the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework service was to blame. I disabled it and the laptop stopped freezing during startup.

Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework driver version 8.5.10103.7263 (This is the latest version on the HP website):
I didn't find this driver on the Intel website, but I read somewhere that the Intel® Management Engine Drivers for Windows® 10 and Windows® 11 driver might work, but I doubt it.
Here is a list of drivers.
What to do?

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this version works:
8.7.10802.26924

Hello! Sorry for the long absence, as I have been testing my laptop for half a month and have not found any problems with freezing at startup. But I have a question: what is the best way to install the driver you suggested? Should I turn the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework service back on?

Thanks! I installed the driver you suggested and noticed that in the device manager the names of the four Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework devices were somehow renamed to Intel Dynamic Tuning, while the old name of the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework service remained unchanged. Is this how it should be?

You're very welcome.
I don't know the answer to your question but the new driver apparently updating something because nowadays that is what the driver is now called...the Intel Dynamic Tuning Driver, as shown in this model's driver support page:

As long as you are not having any issues with the Intel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework service, I wouldn't be concerned about it.
