What is the ProdID for your notebook? you should be able to find it on the back of the notebook.
That number is needed because it is a descriptor for the complete specification and region of the world your notebook was marketed in.
It is very specific and needed.
Otherwise, you will not be able to find the correct display to replace the broken or faulty unit.
It will be in the format XXXXXXX.XXX
You can find the part number at the HP PartSurfer web document at the link below this line once you find the product number.
