Hi community iam having a HP Notebook - 15-bs658tx laptop i want to upgrade from hdd to ssd i have a m2x3 slot on my  motherboard can you help me out with the exact product which fits into my  motherboard has iam totallly confused  if possible can anyone share me a product link  m2x3 slotm2x3 slot

Hi:

 

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports SATA SSD's only, not NVMe.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the supported drive types.

The 'm2x3' you see in white lettering has nothing to do with the M.2 slot.

 

That is the size of the screw that goes into the nearby hole you see there.

 

M2 = Metric 2 mm in diameter

 

x3 = 3 mm in length.

 

This is the type of drive that is supported for your notebook.

 

I randomly selected the 500 GB model.
