Your HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-Eg0000 (172Z8AV), according to: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06913637.pdf, requires this battery, with HP p/n: L97300-005 "3CELL BATTERY 41Wh 3.72Ah LI HW03XL".
Please verify that this is the battery as installed in your laptop:
