Hi guys
Question of mine would be is it all right for this CPU to reach 100 degree?
Since I got it, I notice that Core Temp shows higher temps than on my previous Ryzen ( 5 2500U).
I did apply new thermal paste Arctic MX-4, but it did not change anything.
Bascially, writing now I have 52°C ( Firefox 4 tabs, Youtube,Thunderbird)
Spend whole day with Visual Studio, SQL, large excel files open, around 55-75°C
I done some scanning with SpyBot Search and destroy -
and LOL, this CPU goes up to 95-102°C for whole time while scanning (14min) in Power mode - Best performance, while switched to Best power efficency it immeditely goes down to 80-90°.
Malwayrebytes gives me same temp, just scanning is faster here.
So as I asked in the beggining, could you reassure me that there is nothing wrong with my laptop please ?

Your support suggestion is about as useful as a condom vending machine in the Vatican.
My main concern is whether the Ryzen 5 5625U processor is prone to overheating.
I've already replaced the thermal paste, so providing me with a guide on how to clean the fan doesn't really address my issue.
Regarding your recommendation to use "HP CoolSense Technology", have you attempted to install it on a modern laptop?
It seems like the application is from 2013, which makes me question its relevance and compatibility.
On a side note, I purchased a cooling pad, which has slightly improved the situation.
Oh well, I guess HP isn't the most reliable brand, but I got it during a promotion, so I can't complain too much.
For my next laptop, I'm definitely considering an ASUS model ( as it used to be)
