Product: HP ProBook 450 G6

We are encountering a concerning trend with several HP ProBook 450 G6 laptops that were originally equipped with HDDs. Following user reports of performance issues and disk corruption, these laptops were upgraded to 2.5" SSDs. While the initial performance improvement was positive, a recurring problem has emerged where the disk usage frequently spikes to 100%.

This issue has been observed in a significant number of the upgraded laptops, suggesting a systemic cause rather than an isolated incident. We have attempted troubleshooting steps, including identifying resource-intensive processes, but the problem persists. Interestingly, one laptop upgraded to an NVMe SSD has not exhibited this behavior.please advise on the best course of action to address the already upgraded machines and prevent it from happening to future upgrades.
