Hi everyone,

I have a doubt, in this thread says: "All of the notebooks with the Ryzen 7 processors would support 64 GB of memory."

but in this other thread: "You can upgrade to 32GB (2 x 16GB) using (or similar)"

it is quite confusing, this laptop supports 32gb or 64gb?

on linux shows a maximum of 32gb (I have 32gb),

I would appreciate your answers,

thanks!

My  HP laptop with Ryzen 5700U supports only 32GB. The cpu and chipset does support more, but HP has limited max amount of ram, probaly favoring their business line for more than 32GB of memory.

I think the same,

It does not make much sense that my hp laptop from 2012 supports 8gb of memory, another from 2016 (basic for work) supports 32gb and this one that is "for gaming" only supports the same 32gb, anyway xD

thanks for your answer my friend.
