Hello,

After normal use for about ~2ish years, I opened my laptop and the hinge popped open, causing the screen to crack all the way across! I never dropped it and I keep the laptop stored in a padded backpack. The hinge has never given me any issues before so I was shocked that this happened so suddenly. Upon researching the problem, this seems to be a common issue affecting the HP Envy line? I'm wondering what options are available? Photos included:

Could you please share the serial number of your HP laptop?
