Microsoft Windows 11

Hi. The right hinge of my HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13m-bd0023dx has broken making a small part of the screen on that same corner pop up from the case. The machine is still working including the touchscreen, but now I can't close the laptop which means it has become useless, since it was the machine that my daughter used to take to her school and now she can't take it anywhere nor use it as a tablet.

I've been calling to HP support trying to get some help but nothing has worked so far. This is a expensive equipment and shouldn't become useless for this kind of problem, specially since my daughter has taken very good care of it.

This machine is only two years old. That means is already out of warranty. Nonetheless, I expect HP products not just to outlive their warranty but also to honor their brand and meet the expectations about the quality of their service and products.

I wonder if someone at HP would help me fix this. Thanks.

Hi @patient027,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
