Hinge broken

Hi, 

The hinge on my laptop broke pretty much as the warrant ran out (in under a year). I tried to fix it myself, but the plastic has snapped causing more issues - an annoying grinding sound can now constantly be heard whenever the fan is moving fast. I assume it’s a bit of plastic from the hinge fixture as I have found loose bits of plastic trapped in there before, but I can’t fix this one. I’m not sure what to do as I can’t just glue the plastic back together. 
please help!!

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty.
