HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ey1000 (794B5AV)

I have an HP ENVY x360 and it is just out of warranty and the right hinge just broke when I opened the laptop. I am an IT professional and this is clearly a defective design. There was no mishandling or anything and it just separated. Very dissapointed in the build quality.

I’m filing a consumer complaint against HP for the known hinge defect in the Envy x360 series.

This is a manufacturing/design flaw This happened to me despite careful use. I feel cheated, especially since this is marketed as a premium laptop.

I am collecting evidence of the issue and references to similar cases, including user reports, forums, and even an older HP hinge lawsuit in the US.
