The hinges of my laptop are broken.

A quick look at the discussions here show it is a problem of many clients with an HP360.

The person I entered an online chat with was friendly but never aknowledged that this is a known problem. One assumes this is company policy. 

To others with this problem: they will say a repair is 'out of the guarantee' and you will be required to pay a hefty sum for a repair. Half the retail price of my laptop in this case. 

I can throw my laptop in the garbage bin within 22 months of purchase because of an HP design flaw. 

It is all rather disappointing that customers are treated this way and receive no real help and no compensation for this known issue.
