Hi,

 

I have an HP Laptop 17-by3xxx. It is held together with duct tape as the hinges failed. The case cracked all around as a result. I cannot move the computer, nor close it, lest the whole thing may split in half. It was not dropped, nor mishandled. I went to bed one night and the hinges to be broken and the case bulging the next day.

 

There are class action lawsuits in motion over this known issue. HP needs to make this right.
