Can I connect to my printer using hotspot instead of wifi

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

The printer cannot be connected to a Hotspot connection. You will need a personal wireless router or use a USB cable.

 

Alternatively, you may use the Wifi-Direct option. Refer to - HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct)

Note: There will be no internet access on the device while using this feature.
