I have an HP laptop HP Notebook - 15-db1076nr that is 3 years old, and it seems to need a new battery. When unplugged the battery charge drops from 100% to nothing in 10 or 15 minutes. I have checked the HP website and I can't find where I can buy a HP replacement battery. It seems that if HP isn't selling their batteries, they would direct a customer to a reliable retail business to get one. Most of those available seem to be counterfeits.
I will say that if my question doesn't get me an acceptable answer, then the days of buying HP laptops are over.

Paul, Thanks you very much for your help finding a replacement battery for my laptop. I had tried several times on the HP site, but never was successful finding what I needed. The site is a bit difficult to negotiate for an 80-year-old, but finally made it happen. Ted
