How am I supposed to charge my HP Pen while sticking it to the side?

The design and Ergonomics  of the HP pen are next to joke. 

Why is a Type -C to Type -C cable not included with the HP Pen??

If I  wish to charge the HP Pen by a type C cable, how do I keep it attached to the side of my HP Spectre? 

The M=magnets do not allow me to stick the pen right next to my Laptop while charging.

Please help is it supposed to be like this? or is there another way?

Also please suggest best apps to take notes with the HP pen.

Buddy I am talking about the Pen which comes included with HP Spectre X360. It consists of a type C charging Port. So the mentioned link is not useful for me.
