Product: HP 1000-1b10AU 14-inch Laptop (A Series Dual Core A4/2GB/500GB)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)
I earlier also inquiered the same question - Laptop = HP 1000-1b10AU 14-inch Laptop (A Series Dual Core A4/2GB/500GB)
Initially it came with 2 GB RAM, can a RAM of 4 GB or 8 GB be installed? ( it has only one RAM slot.

It has TWO slots and you can install 2 x 4GB to get 8GB max. Both slots are on the same area, one stick is on the top of other stick. Page 52 of the following manual shows your where they are
