Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

How can I check the maximum supported RAM size for HP 15-db0996na laptop? I tried everything. The manual only states current configuration. On some of the websites it says 16 on some 32 but there is no source provided for that information. 

 

Please help.

HP Recommended

Officially its 16 gigs but we know from experience and feedback here that Ryzen 5 models will run 32 gigs (2 x 16 gig DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM). Your model has a single 8 gig module and 2 memory slots. Looks like this with back cover removed:
