Hi guys. I bought my laptop, a HP Pavilion Gaming EC-1025, second hand and it didn't come with manuals. I've tried to Google my question but I'm getting mixed results. 

I'm going on a long-haul flight in a few weeks and would like to take my laptop, however the battery life is going to be a big issue unless I can charge it via USB-C from a power bank. 

It has a USB-C port but I've tried to charge it with a USB charger and nothing happened. It is only a 45W charger though so I'm not sure if that's the issue, or whether charging is just not supported at all.

Hi:

 

Chapter 1, page 3 of the maintenance and service guide on your notebook's user guides page indicates that the USB-C port supports data transfer only.
