Pavilion 15-e001ax
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

My laptop takes too much time to get ready after booting. Sometimes freezes when try to run multiple tasks at same time. I hope it could be solved by upgrading the old OEM HDD to SSD.

Will it solve the problem? or upgrading not worth it because its almost 6 years old ?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive installed on the PC.

1 TB hard drive and 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 is more than sufficient to run the computer smoothly.

If your experiencing slow performance issue with the computer then follow this link: Improving PC Performance (Windows 😎
