Product: HP ProBook 440 14 inch G11 Notebook PC (8Z4N0AV)

I've bought a new Probook thinking that the whole keyboard and touchpad would be much advanced from my Envy that i bought in 2016.  I am extremely disappointed that the touchpad is so clunky and noisy when using it. I've changed it to sensitive but it's still noisy. Is this what i should expect or is the laptop defective?  Not sure i can cope with it for the next five years!!
