I have a dead Pavillion Lap top with this SSD drive in it. I need to get the info off this SSD drive. What adapter do I need so I can plug this SSD drive in it and plug it in a USB port or whatever to access it?

Any help greatly appreciated...

It has M.2 format, you can remove it and using USB-M.2 adapter for around $10 to read it. There are two main types of adapters one for SATA and one for NVMe and you need to buy the one with SATA. For example:

   https://cplonline.com.au/simplecom-sa221-2-5-m-2-msata-ssd-to-usb3-0-adapter.html

You can buy different brand and cheaper elsewhere.
