I read the previous post and tried to buy the hardware kit but the HP Store, and other resellers, don't have it. and it looks pretty simple, too, i.e., a SATA connector with ribbon and a cover. I have a wrecked 450 G1, BTW, but am not sure if there are parts in it that are adaptable. Note: I did find a company located in Germany that would sell me the actual kit for a little over $90 and that wasn't air express!! Suggestions welcome... the sooner the better!
I'm waiting to open the computer until I know I can actually do the 2.5" (1TB SSD) upgrade. The HP techs I've been talking to tell me that the parts (the kits) have to be ordered - they tell me there are other HP kits that would fit but, right now, they''re all back ordered. And these are new model ProBooks, too!

Parts from other generations may not do any good for you BUT do you know what is its part # ? We can check.
