How do I check if my laptop has an m.2 slot? without opening it

Hi,

Your notebook does not have an M2 slot for an M2 SSD. It might have a mSata slot for a cache drive.

The best idea is to just replace the 2.5" Hard Drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Crucial MX500 or similar and then reinstall the OS on the SSD.

On page 54 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive
