My HP Portable SSD P500 has stopped connecting to my MAC. I have tried different ports, different cables, different computers and it no longer mounts. I want to make a warranty claim and can't get past the Serial Number screen. The device clearly has a S/N and a P/N and neither one is registered with HP. Does anyone have a way to get past the S/N screen to get help? I am very disappointed with HP service.

Virtual Assistance is not helping. All you send me is links to the virtual assistance that REQUIRES a serial number. I have a valid serial number on the side of the SSD that YOU ARE NOT RECOGNIZING. Did you even make this device? Why does it have HP painted on the side if you are not going to recognize it. Please have a HUMAN BEING contact me.

My HP Portable SSD P500 has a serial number and a product number on the side. The accessory is recognized as Model 7PD49AA. The Serial Number is not recognized, The Service Techs keep giving me this number to call [Information Removed]. Do not bother unless you have a serial number they will recognize. Does anyone have any suggestions how to get past the serial number wall? Thanks
