I want to DELETE HP Support Assistant, and nothing works.  It tells you to sign in, and I use the correct sign-in password, but it tells me the password is incorrect.  It has done this to me MANY times over the years when I want to get it off my computer.  Sorry I ever put it back on.

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

 

I would try this version (6.39) of CCleaner: Download CCleaner 6.39 for windows - Filepuma.com, install it, right-click and Run as administrator then Yes, go to Tools, select Uninstall, under Programs to Remove, locate and click on HP Assistant, and Uninstall.

 

If you want to keep CCleaner, go to Privacy and unclick all options, and do the same under Updates.
