How do I enable AMD-V on my HP Pavilion dv6?
12-28-2021 03:04 PM

Hello, My name is Thomas, and I need help with enabling AMD-V on my HP Pavilion dv6 notebook (product number: XZ077UA#ABA) I want to virtualize Windows XP on my laptop, but i need AMD-V for my 64-bit VirtualBox (6.1.30) installation. I really hope someone knows the problem I have since I am not using my mother's laptop any longer.

Should have a system configuration menu in the BIOS and one option is to enable processor virtualization...the processor is capable of AMD-V the only issue is whether HP enabled it on the motherboard.
