Hi,

I'm trying to determine what device I have so I can download the correct BIOS drivers.

The device has the above product number, but, this is not recognised by the HP website, neither is the serial number. Is there another way to find what device it is?

Hi:

Entering that product number on the HP Partsurfer website, it comes up as a HP ELITEBOOK X360 1030 G2.

Here is the support site link for that model...

That's the answer I came to, but, when I download the BIOS update it says not compatible with this device. Weird!!

What is the BIOS version installed now?

Here is the link for the BIOS releases.  Click on the Revision History link on the page.

It currently has 01.08 from 09-06-17.

I have deleted the file and am having another go.

If it doesn't work again, maybe try bringing it to v1.14 and then see if you can update to v1.15.

The previous BIOS release downloads are all the way at the bottom of the revision history tab link.
