It looks like my battery might need replacing. I have a pavilion 15-eg3000. How do I find what battery to get? I'm going to take it in to have it changed, would it just be easier to buy it from them or buy one and take them both to a store? Might I expect this to happen again? My laptop is plugged in 24/7. It reads 56%. It is also only 10 months old. Could it have overcharged? It passed all the tests I was told to run.
Thanks
Darryl

Hi @darrylweiss
the warranty of a battery never exceeds that of the laptop, I recommend that you first calibrate the battery following the steps of this link.
