My HP pavilion laptop's mouse pad has become uneven. The left bottom side dips by about 1-2mm. Hasn't affected my usage too much but it annoys me at times. Took it to a HP service center. Dude said it's fine, use it like that. But it's not fine! Takes 5k INR to replace the mouse pad and idek if that'll fix the issue. Any other suggestions??

No. There are no other options that I have ever heard of to return the touchpad to its as delivered state.

Replace the touch pad.

That price for replacement certainly is reasonable.
