It cannot be upgraded; the 64 GB eMMC disk is soldered to the motherboard. You can use an external USB disk.

What type of storage Ram or Rom or External storage ?

You should know that with this method, what is created is a secondary drive, which can store data, and you configure it in Windows Update. If the drive is not connected, no data is archived, but it does not increase the 64 GB eMMc disk.

So you have several options: buy a normal HDD drive with a USB adapter, buy an NVME drive with an adapter, buy a USB storage device, or buy an SD card.
