I just got a 15-fd000 HP laptop. Though I have managed to upgrade it to Win 11 Pro, I have not been able to gen rid of all the annoying stuff HP bundles. I wish to install the standard Microsoft Win 11 ISO, but it does not include the necessary HP drivers (specially the network drivers). When I go to HP driver download I can download drivers but they are in exe format meant for installation on a running Win 11 system. They are not suitable to a full install from a MS install disk.
How do I proceed?

Yes, that should work. However I found a different path to a solution. I created an “ei.cfg” file containing the following text:
[EditionID]
Professional
[Channel]
Retail
in the sources folder of the install image. That forced a pro install that allows install without Internet. The all but audio of the missing drivers are installed with 1st Windows update.
Another approach is to use an Ethernet dongle instead of relying on the missing WiFi drivers. Proceed to install Win Home with Ethernet connection then use your Pro license code to upgrade.

For (original) Windows 10/11. please use Cloud Recovery tools

You have a few hurdles to overcome when you want to clean install Windows on any PC that comes with an Intel 11th gen core processor or newer.
1. There are no storage controller drivers for Windows to find the drive.
2. You cannot install Wi-Fi drivers in advance. You will have to install them afterward.
3. If your PC came with Windows 11 Home when you clean install Windows, you will again end up with W11 Home, so you will have to repeat the upgrade process from W11 Home to Pro.
See this link for how to set up a local account on W11 when you don't have an internet connection.

Then you can install the Wi-Fi driver your notebook needs afterward.
I zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers below so Windows can find the drive.
Copy all of the files in both folders in the attached file to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the W10/W11 installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
Click Next and if those are the right drivers Windows should find the drive and install.
